At APEX Elite Line Academy, we know that becoming a lineworker is about more than just training in the field—it’s about having the right support every step of the way. From admissions to graduation, our team is committed to helping you succeed both in the classroom and beyond.

Student Coaches

From day one, every student will work with a student coach who serves as your guide throughout the program. Coaches along with instructors are here to answer questions, provide encouragement, and connect you with resources to make your journey smoother. They’ll check in regularly to make sure you’re staying on track academically, physically, and personally.

Academic & Skills Support

  • Tutoring & Study Help – Get one-on-one support with coursework or technical training.
  • Skill Development Workshops – Build confidence in key areas like climbing, equipment use, and safety.
  • Career Essentials Training – Resume building, mock interviews, and job search support are built into the program.

Career Placement Assistance

Our ultimate goal is to prepare you for the workforce. The APEX team provides:

  • Job placement guidance through employer partnerships
  • Industry networking opportunities with contractors, utilities, and renewable energy companies
  • Interview and hiring preparation to launch your career with confidence

Housing & Community Resources

While APEX does not provide on-campus housing at this point, our student coaches can connect you with local housing options and resources in Baker City. We’ll help you find the best fit so you can focus on training without added stress.  Our goal is to have onsite housing options in the next phase of construction.

Health & Wellness Support

Linework is demanding—physically and mentally. That’s why we encourage students to stay healthy and balanced:

  • Fitness and conditioning support to prepare for the rigors of the job
  • Access to community health resources for physical and mental wellness
  • Peer support and teamwork culture that fosters encouragement and accountability
