Admission Requirements
To be considered for enrollment, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be 18 years of age prior to the start date of the program
- Hold a high school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Completed DOT or similar physical medical exam prior to enrollment
- Provide proof of medical insurance prior to the start date
- Weigh no more than 270 pounds (due to equipment safety limits for climbing and fall protection gear)
- Have a good command of the written and spoken English language

Admissions FAQs
Yes. You must be at least 18 years old before the program start date to be eligible for enrollment.
Yes. You can attend from any other state as long as you meet all the other requirements for admission.
No. You will need to have completed at least Algebra with a passing grade to meet the minimum math standards. Basic geometry is also helpful.
A GED is accepted in place of a high school diploma. Proof must be submitted during the admissions process.
For your safety, our climbing and fall protection gear has a maximum weight rating of 270 pounds. This ensures equipment functions properly in training and on the job.
You’ll need to be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of linework—climbing, lifting, working outdoors, and handling tools. Our instructors will help you build strength and endurance throughout training, but you should arrive ready for challenging physical work.
Yes, a valid driver’s license is required before starting the program. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is highly recommended, but you may earn this during or after the program.
Yes, all students must provide proof of medical insurance prior to the program start date.
If you’re selected, you’ll receive an enrollment packet with final paperwork. A $500 deposit will be due at this time to reserve your spot in the program.
The deposit is non-refundable, but it will be applied toward your tuition total once you begin the program.
